I have been working with Norman Tebbit illustrating a a new cook book called the Game Cook. There are a series of new prints including pheasant, partridge, pigeon, grouse, rabbit, hare, spider crab, scallops and many more. ‘The Game Cook’ will hopefully be launched in July and a limited number of signed prints will be available for sale, along with the book of course. Interestingly we have included seafood in ‘the game cook’ as I am a keen diver and we often go out looking for scallops, spidercrabs and bass, we feel that it gives the book a more rounded appeal and as we are catching creatures from the wild then this is justified as game. I have shown here a picture of an initial design idea for the cover which may or may not look like this but will certainly be along these lines. I may also include a sample recipe.

Thank you for your message. The entire print collection from Norman Tebbit’s book, ‘The Game Cook’ will be available for sale from this site, with the book, from the beginning of August. We are hoping to launch it at the Belvoir Castle Game Fair at the end of July.

I bought my copy at the Game Fair at Belvoir Castle on Saturday, having it signed by Lord Tebbitt – what a charming man, also your husband with whom we spoke whilst we queued. Sorry we didn’t get to meet you. Both the illustrations and culinary content of the game cook book are excellent, plus the ‘chatty’ bits, make for a very entertaining and useful addition to my cookbook collection. I have never attended a book signing before, and the time both Lord Tebbitt and your husband took to speak to us made it a highlight of the Fair. Thank you – and good luck with the book.

Just ordered the signed cook book by Norman Tebbitt, it is for a birthday present for my neighbour Andrew for the 9th of October would it be possible to have it by then.
My husband Carl really wanted this cook book and as its our 45th anniversary on the 17th of October I will order him a signed copy as well.

I have written a post about Norman Tebbit’s Book The Game Cook on my website. We share the same fabulous butcher, the New Street Butchers in Horsham, so I was very interested to hear that the book was inspired by a conversation Tebbit had with one of the butchers there. The book — and illustrations — look great. I’m looking forward to getting a signed copy (I hope) via the butcher.
